How to read this list

Skyfal supports a broad range of enterprise security technologies. The platforms named on this page are the ones that come up most often in our work. They describe the range of our experience. They are not a limitation of our capabilities.

If your site runs something that is not listed here, contact us regarding your platform. The underlying work is usually the same: controller faults, server and database problems, reader and communication errors, version and firmware mismatches, integrations that stopped working after somebody upgraded one side of them.

Scope

What we actually do on these systems

Skyfal is a service company, not a product vendor. The work begins where installation ends.

A controller drops off the network. A card format stops reading at one entrance and works at every other. A video server fills its array and quietly stops recording the cameras nobody watches. A firmware update breaks an integration that ran for six years. Those are the calls we take.

We do not sell cameras or panels, and we do not run new cable, drill, install conduit or perform construction wiring. Parts needed for a repair are sourced through normal supply channels and installed as part of that repair. See Services for the work itself and Industries for the environments it runs in.

  • Diagnosis and repair. Controller, reader, power, communication and server faults traced to cause before anything is replaced.
  • Programming and configuration. Personnel, credentials, clearances, schedules, inputs, outputs, event actions and operator permissions.
  • Server and database work. Installation, migration, backup verification, service recovery and version alignment across servers and clients.
  • Upgrades and migrations. Legacy controllers and end-of-life servers moved onto current platforms with the existing programming carried across and proven.
  • Preventive maintenance. Scheduled inspection, testing and written records. See Preventive Maintenance.

HID credential and reader technologies

OSDP reader communications
